Dealer Open Lot (DOL)

The London DOL form differs from the standard ISO wording. DOL perils correspond to Specified Causes of Loss and Collision only, and private use of dealership cars is not automatically included (coverage for Furnished Cars may be added by endorsement). We consider all the usual types of dealerships, from used car operations through to high-value exotics and foreign vehicles. Consigned auto coverage can be included under the DOL form.

Garage Keepers Legal Liability (GKLL)

GKLL can be written for the same dealership as DOL, or as standalone coverage. Types of operation covered include:

  • Repair shops (mechanical and body work)
  • Detailing operations (on or off premises)
  • Car washes and refitting / customising operations
  • Parking operations (self-park or valet)
  • Storage situations including repossessions and auctions
  • Towing and wrecker operations
  • Drive-away exposures such as relocating rental units, mobile home toters, and more
